About Dr. Michaud

Welcome
I hope you will find what you are looking for in these pages. My expertise includes day-to-day stressors as well as serious and chronic conditions related to trauma and abuse.
I work with adults 18 and older. When clients facing retirement are challenged by a loss of identity, they may discover a fertile opportunity to deepen their sense of self. I am also fond of working with elders through the transitions of aging, the emotional impact of chronic pain, loss of a partner, and end-of-life issues.
I have a strong history in assessment and testing, forensics, and individual and couples work. I am not offering assessment and testing services at this time. I have worked in community mental health, medical clinics, psychiatric hospitals and rehabilitation hospitals, with diverse clientele.
I maintain my skills through continued training, consultation with colleagues whose expertise I respect, and keeping up with current research.
